Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka's birthplace was Minsk which is located in Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born 5 May 1998, in Minsk Belarus. She has 12 WTA titles in her career, which includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. As a doubles player, she's also a great player. She's won two Majors in the past with Elise Mertens. They won The US Open in 2019 and the Australian Open in 2021. The Sunshine Double was achieved by her and Elise in the year 2019. They both won WTA 1000s at Indian Wells & Miami. This feat was only achieved by four couples in female doubles. The 23rd of August, 2021 was the day she was ranked second in the world singles ranking her best ranking reached again in January 2023. In doubles however she pushed herself to the top of the list during February of that same year after the victory in Melbourne making her the second tennis player from Belarus to make it in this specialty. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) coached her for part of the season in 2019 in 2018 and through the close of the season. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from August to September of 2020. She has been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
